The 40th ESVS Annual Meeting 2026 will be held from 6th to 9th of October, 2026 in Belgrade, Serbia.
Belgrade, the vibrant capital of Serbia, sits at the crossroads of Eastern and Western Europe where the rivers Danube and Sava meet. With a history shaped by empires including the Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman, and Austro-Hungarian, the city has long been a meeting point of cultures, traditions, and influences.
From the historic Belgrade Fortress overlooking the rivers to its lively boulevards, cafés, and riverside promenades, Belgrade combines centuries of history with an energetic contemporary spirit. Its thriving cultural life, renowned hospitality, and dynamic nightlife give the city a distinctive character where tradition and modern life coexist.
